    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

FSMetars and Missing OCX files

I just did a format and rebuild of my operating system. Got all my apps and stuff reinstalled. Fired up FS9 to do some GA flying, went to fire up FSMetars and got a message telling me that some OCX file was missing. I remembered that this is discussed in the FSMetars154 zip file. I downloaded the three cab files..each containing a OCX and an INF file. I have no clue where they are supposed to be installed to or how to install them.

Anyone have directions for a meathead to follow?

I got it figured out and the files are installed and registered. Now FSMetars runs like a charm!
