Awesome, can't wait to check her out tonight. Hopefully I can get my old favorite paint to work. I always fly warbirds like a personal sports car of sorts, and have always liked to fly this with with a few hundred pounds removed and the power up by about 300.

If you play with the alphas on the old repaints you should be able to achieve the same chrome effect on the native skin :engel016:

Are the above repaints available at SOH? I always found it difficult to search here so don't want to try unless they're here. lol
 
John 'Bomber_12th' Terrell did some very nice onces as well, which are also available here in the library.

It looks like Bomber_12th's repaint of Janie is the one I can't use, because the one I have is the same as the one here on SOH (which is possibly where I originally got it... Brain fail on that one!)

Bah. But oh well. Having enough fun with Snooks not to be that worried. ;)
 
looks like i need to get all my mustangs i had in FS 9 into FSX. Which is great, I missed this one really bad!

You only need the P-51D1_t.bmp through to P-51D5_t.bmp and don't forget to copy over a texture.cfg from Snooks and all will be well.:engel016:

Is anyone planning on doing any RAF repaints for this? I understand that the RAF Mk IV version was identical to the P-51D.
