There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.
If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.
Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

There was a download available on Avsim or FlightSim.com which replaced two of the music files (FSX01 and FSX02) with two of the tunes from Topgun. It was rather good. There was a discussion about it on here at the time and as someone pointed out at the time, it was probably an infringement of someone’s copyright. I can’t tell you what the filename was, and I suppose it could have been removed

Whenever I do a fresh install of FSX, its the first adjustment I make - disabled as soon as possible.
The opening music in FSX, has anyone tried to change it ? And if so how do I do it ? I would like to hear some Stephen Stills "Treetop Flyer" when I open my FSX, to me this is flying music.
I didn't realize there was opening music for FSX. It takes so long to start I go refill my cup with whatever and then put on the headphones once I choose a flight. Learn something new every day.

Same here! Is there an opening tune for FSX????? Never noticed, don't need it!![]()
How can anyone not notice? It's turned on by default when FSX is started the very first time... :isadizzy:
Don't worry Warrant, you can't dance to it anyway.
