Special Server Maintenance
Just when you think you have everything running some what better...
You get a message from the Hosting company. Short story they need to move us to a new server. I have been working with them to plan a good date for all concerned. Here is what we have come up with as a schedule.
- November 4th 17:00 -5UTC shut off the forums and start backup proceedures. During this time there will be no access to the forums or the Resource Section.
- November 5th Continue with Backups and download same until complete.
- November 6th 7:00 turn over server to hosting company to move system to new server
- November 7th - 8th restore backups and upgrade forum software.
If all goes well we should be back online on November 8th.
To keep you updated we will post updates on AVSIM forums.

And yes, as was expected: They didn't correct the pilots size. Why do so many payware addons come with that odd dimensions?

Rare Yellow Bird Doing Scottish Business Commuting Service

Presenting a nice Scottish business commuter service provided by HS-121 Trident 1E from EGPD Aberdeen International Airport located at Dyce approximately 5 nautical miles northwest of city centre of Aberdeen, Scotland to EGKK Gatwick Airport located 29.5 miles south of central London.
Airborne after take off on climb to FL310 with background view of lightened motorway (British word for highway) A96
Making left 180 degree turn to head to south with background view of town of Oldmeldrum where one of the oldest whisky distilleries in Scotland called Glen Garioch is located
Still on climb passing through clouds
Still in middle of 180 degree turn toward south with background view of waters of North Sea seen on top

Beautiful!!I have to say I am absolutely blown away by the Flight Dynamics of this. Accu-Sim and all it flies like nothing I've flown before. And the sound of the Merlin - well, you have to be there.
