• There seems to be an up tick in Political commentary in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site we know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religiours commentary out of the fourms.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politicion will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment amoung members. It is a poison to the community. We apprciate compliance with the rules.

  • Server side Maintenance is done. We still have an update to the forum software to run but that one will have to wait for a better time.

FSX Screenshots Here!!

Thanks Bob, it was a long time since I did an FSX repaint and especially on in a 4096 x 4096 resolution. So far it is just one, but I intend to do more from the 7./JG53 Staffel. "Seemann" flown by Uffz Georg Ammon is of course the best known one so that one will be included for sure.

The textures fit both the "early" version of the G6 as the G6R6 Kanonenboot"

Made some small improvements", hope to finish it soonish.

Textures Revamped....

...with photorealistic bits here and there.
not to everybodys taste, I know, but I started with Fs in the 90s,
and believe me, compared to those days standards, this is Gold 🤗
 
I've not had FSX installed since my Vista machine back in 2008, but decided to take a look at it again on my current rig this weekend. Not too bad for a start.

I suppose I'll spend the next several weeks tuning, and improving everything from soup to nuts to bring it up to current FSX standards of performance.
