Here is a shot of it with Orbx Ireland, I must say, wow the roads I created line up with Orbx's roads like a glove. The textures almost look like P3D

Having recently bought Islandsim's KRNO scenery I completed a flight to various airports in the area. As it has been a while since I flew the Orbx North American regions, I had forgotten how rich the Orbx scenery for this area is (using Orbx Northern California and Orbx South Lake Tahoe) and thought I would post a few screenshots.

The other Hospital by the airport, even though there is not a landing pad there, it is nice VFR.

Wow that is a very impressive enhancement for Galway which really otherwise was lacking points of interest in FSX or even in Orbx Ireland! I think the hospital in the last screenshot, if I remember correctly, is called Merlin Park and is basically a specialised orthopaedic hospital. When you release it, I will test it with both UTX and Orbx Ireland.

Landing at the hospital is pretty damn cool, you can see it glowing so well at night. Down to the smallest details is a pretty 16 light ring around their primary pad.

It really is! This is after I landed on the secondary pad - the detaill of the hospital windows looks very realistic!

BTW if you want a nice nearby airport as your base for Galway flights, George Keogh's Galway Airport (EICM) freeware is very good! Sadly this airport, otherwise known as Carnmore, has now closed to commercial traffic.

Yeah George Keogh's freeware airports are very good! I think all of them are still available in the Avsim library.

In addition to lots of Irish airfields and smaller airports, he also has done some very nice scenery for quite a few airports in Hawaii and a handful of stunning airports in the Greek Islands and even an upgrade of the default scenery around the iconic Friday Harbor airport (although I don't use this as I have the Orbx version).

Certainly worth taking a look at his scenery if you are planning a bit of flying around Ireland.

Rocket park includes the Saturn V rocket, and Talon Park. Boardwalk in the background.
Clear Lake Hospital with helipad! Uses the KEFD tower in real life. But adds another landmark to line up base for Runway 35L. Its pretty difficult to land there, very steep approach.
