Hello, if you keep the engine outlet temperature below 900 °C It's quite impossible to have an engine failure as stated in the manual.
At least this is my feedback.

It's available online here included with this alternative FDE mod - https://sim-outhouse.org/sohforums/resources/razbam-a-7-corsair-alternative-fde.11119/ If you are using the tacpack equipped A-7 from Razbam then just replace the airfile only with the one from this mod. The aircraft.cfg file included with the mod is for the non tacpack version and has some different settings to the tacpack version etc.

I have always loved how the Scooter looks. Quick and nimble in the air and the nose high stance on the ground. There is just something about the A4 that strikes a chord in me.

Yes, Mt Cook is just to the right of the screen, with the sun setting over the Tasman sea.

Like you, I'd love to get a better version of Base Ohakea. There's very detailed scenery for Woodbourne and Wellington from RealNZ on Avsim, but nothing of similar quality for NZOH. Here's Woodbourne:
