What do the different red/black victory markings symbolize? Bombers v. Fighters? I'm curious!

Walter, I wish I knew
I have compared the list with Galland's victories with the red and black markings om the rudder, but I could not discover any logic behind it. The nationality is given by a small marking above the bar. It does not indicate the difference between single or twin engined aircraft, as among Galland's first 60 victories there are only a few Blenheims and Potez twin engined aircraft. It isn't showing the difference between bombers and fighters, like it has no connection with the unit he flew in or which rank he had at the moment of the kill. As I said I don't have a clue!
:isadizzy:
I know Galland flew several Bf109Es, perhaps the colours indicate which kill was mad with which aircraft, but I do not have sufficient information to check that. I only know that this must have been has last Emil, before he received his converted Friederich
But as I indicated below the screenshots I did this repaint after a profile made by Vladimir Kamsky. I think I found the pictures he based his profile on, but according to me the real pictures which shows the rudder only contain black kill marks.
Cheers,
