. Appreciated, trucker17, thank you. Am knowing lots of guys spending far less time picking out a wife then I do creating a sky. 11 textures that may be created, 4 steps to each with 6 settings apiece. Dozens of tries with a copius amount of hours testing to balance & get it as close as personally possible. .
Now all that is needed is to get myself back online at home
so this set of sky textures can be uploaded to FEX.
.
A little good news as well:
Intermittently, working for 2 months total over the course of the last 4 years, have been tackling
the vexing problem of the way FSX displays the sequencing from the end of dawn through morning.
You know -- dawn slowly brightens the ground textures & then about an hour in the ground begins to
darken, street lights & night lighting textures are redisplayed then the ground slowly begins to brighten
again. These past few weeks have seen a work-around performing excellently in my sim, no re-darkening
of ground textures & no lights coming back on during post dawn transition. Will make a 3rd 3 hour flight to
ensure that all is continuing to work well & then happily share this technique with everyone in flightsimland.
So many times I nearly threw in the towel over resolving this most perplexing & frustrating
post dawn displaying in FSX. Am no programmer but do possess strong logic & problem solving.
Determination to fix this appears to have finally become reality.
For any following the progress: It's working well.
No lighting-darkening-relighting sequence transitioning between dawn, postdawn1, postdawn2 & morning textures
during the course of the hours it requires. Everything was smooth & balanced, in my estimation. Good, good!
