I’ve been sitting on this model for a long time, and I thought I would show off some of the progress. In the end it should be a very enjoyable little product with a very affordable price. It should fit in well with FS2004 and an FSX version will mostly likely be included in the bundle upon release, though it doesn’t have the polygons and high detail textures our native FSX projects have.

There is still a long ways to go and I am unsure just how many more upgrades we will do to it. Input and interest will be an important factor in how we continue.
Here are some shots I just grabbed in FS2004.

looks nice, i always wish i wasn't skint when things like this come up.

on a slightly different note have you considered a prone pilot version for novelty value?

Except for maybe the Me262 these early jets have a very limited niche. So we can't invest the time to do anything as drastic as that lol, although there will be some different variants.

GOOD GOD, thats one ugly bird!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hey its not that bad......

it has a sort of awkward grace to it, like the gannet.

Hi Jessie.

Whatever happened to this project?? :salute:

Never really came to anything, as other methods were found to deal with the effects of G forces (G-suits etc); actually, that may not be strictly true because, of course, the F-16 pilots are slightly reclined iirc.

Despite being a one off and so 'niche' this prototype actually survived and is displayed at Cosford alongside a number of other very interesting prototypes, one-offs etc.

She looks like TSR2 to me, ugly as h**l! :bump:

TSR.2.......... Ugly?! more like beautiful, if only the Govt. hadn't interfered, i prefer the TSR.2 over the Tornado GR.4 :icon_lol: beauty though IS in the eye of the beholder... i like the Trent Meteor...

Ahem. :wiggle: I was referring to Jessie's WIP for the single seat version of the Meteor. It's been awhile since his original post, and I would really be interested in seeing it released for FS9 at some time - freeware or payware.
