Just when you think you have everything running some what better...

You get a message from the Hosting company. Short story they need to move us to a new server. I have been working with them to plan a good date for all concerned. Here is what we have come up with as a schedule.

    1. November 4th 17:00 -5UTC shut off the forums and start backup proceedures. During this time there will be no access to the forums or the Resource Section.
    2. November 5th Continue with Backups and download same until complete.
    3. November 6th 7:00 turn over server to hosting company to move system to new server
    4. November 7th - 8th restore backups and upgrade forum software.

If all goes well we should be back online on November 8th.

To keep you updated we will post updates on AVSIM forums.

    Thank you for your support.

GoFish brings a fully‑fledged, data‑driven fishing experience into Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, built specifically for Avatar mode.
Step out of the cockpit, walk down to the shore, and cast a line into lakes, rivers, or coastal waters across North America, Europe, Oceania, and beyond. GoFish turns the world’s waterways into your fishing playground, all without ever leaving the simulator.
Under the hood, GoFish uses a real species database powered by scientific occurrence data (OBIS + GBIF) and a custom WASM engine. Every catch is driven by where you are, the current month, time of day, and whether you’re in freshwater, saltwater, or brackish environments.
An integrated in‑sim EFB app (tablet-style interface) handles everything: starting/stopping fishing, choosing bait and line, managing reel and drag, and reviewing your catch history.
Please note that GoFish will require SU4 Beta.

They better not do a darn Golfing sim lol. I do need a Cutter, there's a few fishing boats off Alaska I need to chase raid. Gotta fill up my galley for the holidays.

I think it's a great idea. If you can fly your bush aircraft to some remote location, get out and explore the MSFS2024 scenery on foot, then why not do some fishing to add to the experience ? Now all we need is a log cabin builder add-on...seriously!
