Just finished the last leg of an around the world flight using aircraft carriers and carrier aircraft. The last leg was from a MAAM CVL off of Galveston TX heading east along the "Redneck Riviera" to where I started late last year on my old ship, the USS Lexington (CV-16) off of Pensacola. I flew the same aircraft I started it in, the Aeroplane Heaven Seafire. I did switch around to different carrier aircraft along the way though. Lots of fun along the way and I learned early on, that if the landing wasn't looking right to "take the wave off" and go around to try again.
