• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Golden Wings and Track IR?

I was recently forced to do a complete reinstall of FS9 and so I thought I would use the opportunity to try out Golden Wings. I cant believe I never tried this excellent addon before. Anyway after filling my hangar with appropriate era aircraft I was somewhat disheartened to realise that my TrackIR 4 did not function. Is this normal and is there a work-around?
 
I may be wrong, but I don't think that the changes that GW3 makes to FS9 should prevent TrackIR from working. It doesn't change the core of the program, just scenery and textures. But since I don't have Track IR, I could be totally wrong...wouldn't be the first time that I have been.

Thanks OBIO. Followed instructions in the linked post and it works like a charm. Like you said, there really are some clever folk in these forums. Again many thanks. Now back to my Gee Bee racer. :running:
