    Just when you think you have everything running some what better...

    You get a message from the Hosting company. Short story they need to move us to a new server. I have been working with them to plan a good date for all concerned. Here is what we have come up with as a schedule.

    1. November 4th 17:00 -5UTC shut off the forums and start backup proceedures. During this time there will be no access to the forums or the Resource Section.
    2. November 5th Continue with Backups and download same until complete.
    3. November 6th 7:00 turn over server to hosting company to move system to new server
    4. November 7th - 8th restore backups and upgrade forum software.

    If all goes well we should be back online on November 8th.

    To keep you updated we will post updates on AVSIM forums.

Hawker Hunter package

The 2-seaters will appear at some point, but won't be for quite a while as I haven't made a start on converting them yet.

That's awesome news, Dave! No hurry of course! Lots of fun flying in the single-seat Hunters in the meantime.

A belated thank you for all the stuff you've released for previous sims as well as these Hunters! I've been flying the Hunter non-stop since you released it, and I have a silly amount of payware planes. :)

Superb work as always, and your sharing these with the community is much appreciated!

Downloaded and flown for the first time and as expected she is stunning, again many thanks to Dave, Ben and Rick.

Hi Dave - thanks for the Hunters ! I have been following your work through all the various flightsim iterations over the years!!

Quick question is there a way that we can use the default fast jet or other MoD'd pilot figures with your aircraft?

Quick answer. No.
The pilots in mine are modelled to be a reasonable representation of the correct flying gear for the period. The default pilots, although well modelled, would be too inaccurate.
 
Zsolt, forgive me, but may I make a suggestion ? The circumferential panel lines tend to show the polygon shape of what is a circular fuselage, especially round the nose. Would it not be better to leave them out and let the eye be tricked ?

tastes and slaps...This is because I'm scale modelling in parallel and I have to wash the panels there too
