I have downloaded the old DSB Hawk100 package, or the Goshawk will work fine ass well. In the aircraft.cfg there is a starup effect effect called fx_dsb_heat. I usually use there, I guess you can use it in the lights section ass well.

agreed, a very useful effect, use it all the time.
