Heat shimmer and smoke

Hi, recently i rediscovered Mr. Rainer Mehlins Mig-21 and SU-22, could somebody recommend to me gauges controlling heat shimmer and one which induce engine smoke and then cut it off after afterburner kicks in, perfect jets and those effects would be like icing on the cake?
