Hi everyone, George here.
A bit of background on me: I’ve spent the last 25 years as an industrial designer in various fields, and prior to that, I served as a UH-1V Huey MEDEVAC crew chief.
I am currently wrapping up my first commercial release for MSFS2020: a highly detailed Wright Military Flyer. To ensure it functions like a true piece of historical machinery, I bypassed the default sim logic and custom-coded the aircraft's physical quirks. This includes accurately simulating the compression release valve, hand-cranked props, pitch dynamics of early canards, propeller rpm sim limitations, and so much more.
I joined Sim-Outhouse to share a sneak peek of the project ahead of release. Given the incredible historical knowledge on this board, I’d love to get your eyes on it. I want this add-on to be as authentic as possible. I am all ears...
I'll be starting a thread in the WIP section shortly with some screenshots and a feature list. Looking forward to chatting with you all.
Cheers,
George
