• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

A few years ago I downloaded a patch for Milton's D18 which enabled progressive exhaust smoke and flame according to the throttle opening, a very effective piece of eye-candy!!
Following a re-install about a year ago I still have the smoke effect but, despite countless attempts at rectification, I have "lost" the flame. The patch was called "d18smoka" which I am certain a lot of you will be familiar with, I have re-downloaded, re-installed, checked and double checked, followed instructions to the letter and still no flame. Has anyone else experienced this and if so is there a remedy or am I missing something?
Thanks in advance for any help

XML file

Yes, but you also have to make entry to panel.cfg of XML gauge: Here is the whole burrito:

Install: Very EZ:
(1). put the entire folder coco-gauges in the gauges folder of your Fs,
(2). put the 2 Fx files in the effects folder of your Fs,
(3).then backup the Aircraft.cfg file, next open it (with notepad) and add to the light section:
light.10 = 8, 7.5, -6.5, 0.036, fx_coco_d18FlameL,
light.11 = 9, 7.5, -6.5, 0.036, fx_coco_d18FlameL,
light.12= 6, 7.5, 6.5, 0.036, fx_coco_d18FlameR,
light.13= 7, 7.5, 6.5, 0.036, fx_coco_d18FlameR,
(4).Then open the panel.vc folder, again backup, next open the panel.cfg files
and add to the [window00] section: (Same thing for the panel.novc folder.)
gauge63=Coco-gauges!CocoFXControlTwinjet.xml, 0,0
(5).Please, you need to go into the cockpit 2D once for activate the gauges.
(Normally when you load a plane the first sight is the panel, so .... )
