Help with Bill Holker's CH701

Been having fun with Bill Holker's CH701. But I dislike the glass effect in the VC. Can someone tell me if it is possible to "clear up" the view from the vc? And if so, how can it be done.

It is possible to change the VC glass transparency and color using Martin Wright's MDLmaterial. I have a picturial tutorial for using MDLmaterial about 70% completed...will finish it off today and get it uploaded. Part of that tutorial will cover changing the color and transparency of glass when defined by the MDL materials list. I am not sure how the glass in the CH701 is handled, so I downloaded the plane to find out. Will be back in a bit with some news.

I got sidetracked goofing off with FSX, stealing the sound files from that sim, working on some new sound packs...wait until you hear the new Beaver sound pack...it will blow your ears off....will get on the CH701 now.

MAN there's a lot of glass in the CH701! I adjusted probably 6 to 8 materials dedicated just to glass!

Barry, shoot me a PM with your e-mail address and I will send you the tweaked MDL. Test it, let me know how it suits your taste....can always tweak it some more.

And while on the Zenith planes, have you given Brian Gladden's CH801 a spin. It's STOL like the 701, but bigger. It can be found on Flightsim.com. Just do a search for Brian Gladden and scroll through the list...I think it might be a FS2002 Pro model, but it works beautifully in FS2004.
