There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.
If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.
Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

While Jens-Ole's away I thought I'd take the Deuce out for a spin and have a go at the NASA bird. Incomplete but coming along nicely.

Thanks usafvet, I'll look into changing the colour of the flightsuit before I publish.
BTW has anyone else had trouble with the burner? I've had to add a 'logo' gauge to the vc panel file to get it to work.

Guys,Thanks for the feedback!
I have seen a lot of orange flightsuits for the 50-60s, but seldom in the ang as they got the 102 in the mid 65's. So at least for my north dakota and minnesota ang I believe the green will work fine.
what version are you using? In the tweaks I uploaded to the library last week, this coding is included, see panel.cfg :
Note that the burner should only kick in when the throttle is over 90% and engine RPM is over 97% (CN1)
Dave,Sorry Henk, my mistake and thanks for the correction. I copied over the relevant bits but not the panel folder. I just find it easier that way.
DL - I knew the 4FJ286 was the AMARC code but hadn't twigged the photo was after going into storage. Another conundrum is which Deuce was it? The photos purport to be of either 56-0996 or 998. Joe Baugher gives a different AMARC code for 996 but 998 isn't mentioned. I've numbered it 998 in the data block.
Dave,Thanks a million Mike. A brilliant website!!

Dave,
You are welcome. I'm glad that you found that website helpful. In my youth I spent 6 years working closely with F/TF-102A's and their pilots, so needless to say it is my favorite fighter. As indicated in my avatar I actually got to ride in and actually fly the TF-102A along with the T-33A on occasion.
Dave,.....and you appear to be wearing what looks suspiciously like an orange flight suit, LOL!!

....wish we had a "tub" to go along with the -A....but I recognize the market would not be huge!
