How Do I Keep FS2004 From Always Starting @ Night

By default my FS9 always starts at night no matter which airport I take off from. I have to go in and actually MAKE it start during the day.

Is there a way of changing that default setting?

I have looked everywhere I can think of in the sim menus.

Thanks

You must take a look at one of the general options (or realism... I don't remember), which says that the sim time should be synchronous with the computer (system) time.
You should ensure this option is turned OFF.
Then you should create a new free flight, during day, and save it as your new default flight.

Settings > General > Time > check the "System time" option. This will ignore the time specified in your default flight file, and open the flight at your current local time and date. It may be off by an hour during DST, and I think having a default location in another time zone from yours also tosses a wrench in the mix.
