• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

HU: Republic Seabee at PAD

Here's a US skin that I just uploaded here.

It's fictional, but it's based on factory liveries. Fuselage and vertical tail markings like that Brit livery; wingtip and stab tips like other factory paints. Colors inspired by the dim recollection of a Seabee hulk I saw rotting away at the Orange (Mass.) airport many moons ago.

The registration commemorates a Cessna 172 Skyhawk that I had many delightful hours and a few serious adventures in before some bozo caught a wingtip on a snowbank when landing in the dark and rolled it up into a ball.
Not up yet, been over 24 hours now:frown:

They usually are, but sometimes things come up that can prevent staff members from getting online. It'll get posted...

I just uploaded a pack of five more skins.

They use the same color pattern as the first one, and they're red, white, yellow, beige and cream, with trim in a complimentary color. The cream one has a deeper cream base color than the first one. I like it better; you might, too.

ok and thank you, really like this airplane and so far have 17 hours in it according to the Hobbs meter.:applause:
