Okay, let's not start fomenting panic-inducing rumors here! That's best left to the official MSFS forums.
On Pricing:
MS has standard pricing for base editions of games. They will stick to that for MSFS, I'm sure. FS2020 was $59.99. My guess is that FS2024 will either remain the same, or more likely, jump $10 to the base price for current-generation (Xbox Series X|S) games, $69.99. They have far too big a userbase to go out of line from their base pricing for the standard sim. Probably a similar $0-$10 jump in prices for Deluxe (currently $89.99) and Premium Deluxe (currently $119.99).
Also, keep in mind Game Pass users get a discount, and you can generally get a $1 trial version of Game Pass. For FS2020, Game Pass users pay $71.99 for Deluxe and $95.99 for Premium Deluxe. So when FS2024 is about to release, sign up for a month of game pass, and you can (1) try the standard edition on your PC for the cost of the trial and remembering to set a reminder to cancel before it renews, and (2) get the Game Pass discount on whatever edition you choose to buy.
On included aircraft... During the Expo, MS stated:
* FS2024 will also include all planes and airports included in FS2020
* All the planes you saw in the trailer (and the 737-MAX8) will be included in the base game (
here's a handy list someone compiled on the official forum)
And absolutely nobody at MS has proposed a paid "premium upgrade" for any included plane to add advanced features and doing that doesn't fit MS's business model. They're not trying to make nickels and dimes off hardcore enthusiasts, they're trying to make serious money by encouraging Game Pass subscriptions and selling 40,000 copies of a $14.99 Famous Flyer/Local Legend, rather than selling 651 copies of a $20 more sophisticated FMS for an A330.
