The new Cabinet doors finally came in for the kitchen cabinets and my wife simply stood in front of the pile of doors and pointed to them and then to the cabinates and handed me a coffee and said. After you finish that, get to work on that....and pointed me toward the cabinets....

Sooo... I have been working on these cabinet doors and at the end of the last door we are missing a screw! ARGGGGGG!!!!


OH....WELL...

I just sent her to the Hard ware store for more screws...lol!

10 bucks says, she'll bring back the wrong kind.
it never fails at my house...
so much so that my wife refuses
to run errands for me.

about 15 years ago, we built this house.
after about 5 years,
i finally got lower doors and drawer fronts,
but no uppers or the hardware. (handles)
a few years back, i got the upper doors.
a year or two later, i got the hardware.
last year, i installed the hardware on the uppers.
still haven't done the hardware for the lowers,
but i've got them sitting in a box. waiting

reminds me of the old Ma and Pa Kettle movies
with the old duffer sitting on the porch in a rocking chair.
the place is falling down around him
and every now and then he looks up and says,
"gonna fix that...one of these days."

i'm glad to here that your design hiatus is temporary.
