I need some help - cfs2 ships to FS2004 scenery objects

Meanwhile I did an AI approach of the subject. I used the Liberty ship of The Virtual Navy with an adapted aircraft.cfg and air file for AI. As only one of the ships shows wakes and smoke, I deleted these effects. Curiously shortly after starting the ships do a short zig-zag.

They are moving for about 90 miles, the limit whithin AI are shown. I will add some tankers and escort vessels - and an undiserable intruder: U-67 from Harry Levi's Flight AI shipping package!

The AI CAMship is almost ready. I'm doing some LODs for the Hurricat. Only going to do 3 LODs for it. The ship has more. I was going to remap the textures too but its proving a PIA.

I have the CFS2 stock tanker and merchant ready for testing. I also have a Static version of each plus the Static CAMship.

Does anyone know how to setup the catlaunch for FS9? The static CAMship would be a good candidate for it.
 
Finally I did my version as AI static, as the moving traffic isn't satisfactory. Now the convoy include Liberty ships, tankers and Fletcher class destroyer - I didn't found anything else.

Here U-67 in front of the convoy, as AI too. It's the model cgsub, and does diving movements.

Good work there GR!

Something I did with my static U441 Flak, I added a wake. So applied that to a static bgl of the standard CFS2 sha_tanker, which I also modded to look a lot better. Also added smoke to each stack.

This is only a test, so you get the effect of a 24 ship, slow moving convoy, which is static and only 640kb.

I see what you mean about the bow angles. That does look better. so the smoke and wake are added to the bgl, clever.

one more night of work then i can get back into it.
