Icarusgold Gloster Gladiator on sale now

Hi Icarus - if you have time - could there be a clean version of this one thanks?

BTW - Im looking forward to the Sea version.

i am painting but not new skin...today the living room...without markings lol...i will start with skins tonight.

I usually prefer weatherd as well (but not in my living room!!) but every photo i have seen of the silver winged glads shows a spotless example.

The world's most exclusive flying club, aka the inter-war RAF, had plenty of people to keep their aircraft looking shiny and flying nicely, yet hadn't got a clue how to fight a war...

...possibly hence the nice shiny aircraft with big Squadron liveries and identifiers. ;)

I like my birds weathered as well (most of my repaints show at least some weathering), but in this case, most pics I've seen of pre-war Glads is spotless examples.
Icarus, if you could give us just one spotless insignia-less example, that would be just great. I'll probably paint a few pre-war versions, and people can have a choice, clean or dirty..
Now, all of them are extremely weathered (which I like), but a few spotless examples would be nice too.

I suppose one spotless model to take the mother in law up in could be useful.

Wow Jankees - that would be great.

Has anyone noticed that IPMS Stockholm's Camouflage and Markings of the Gloster Gladiator, Part1
(see:http://www.ipmsstockholm.org/magazine/1999/10stuff_eng_profile_gladiator1.htm) states that "RAF wooden propellers were painted a shade of grey very similiar to Medium Sea Gray". He goes on to say that Museum Gladiators show the propellers that color.

Is it possible that someone (a lot more talented and conversant with textures than I am) could figure out how to do a modification to our new favorite plane that would show this propeller color (also in the spinning prop)?

Jankees?

Best Regards to you all,

Bill
