ICP Savannah S - released 4/3/26 - freeware

Bagalou (who has done a number of awesome custom Cessna variations) has released v1.0 of his first from-scratch airplane, the ICP Savannah S. It's freeware, but the level of detail and flight modeling is easily comparable to the SWS Zenith or the Flyboy Rans S6S. Check out the detail shot of the tail below.

If you like to do any bush or low-and-slow flying, don't miss out on this one. It's not "good for freeware," it's just really good overall. Supports GPS add-ons, too. FS2020 plane, but rock-solid in FS2024.

Download, manual (though there's also full online help in the plane) etc are here:

My first thought was that it looked somewhat similar to the A22 Foxbat which I flew a lot in FSX and P3D but a quick comparison showed it was not at all similar. It's a nice model with some nifty "extras" (would be nice if it had a tent setup after setting the chocks and tie-downs). All in all it's hard to complain given the fact that it's freeware and so well done. Just a side note, be sure you remove the pitot cover, lol. . .Just saying!!

I like it. Flies nice and looks good. Many Thanks to Bagolou for his work.
I'd appreciate the smaller wheels with fairings in a later update though :sneaky:

The pilot avatars currently seem to be a tat too small, but that might affect VR pilots only

I think if you made the avatars bigger, it would put their heads through the roof, height wise they look spot on, they just have short legs... I fly VR & the Avatars don't really cause issues, the main thing in some add on planes is that the developer/s forget to edit the XYZ in the VR pilot co-ordinates in camera config file. I have had issues especially with flight replicas doing this, their P-40N the VR pilot view has you sitting on the nose just aft of the exhausts. It's a simple fix copying the pilot view XYZ co-ordinates & pasting that into the VR pilot camera config entry.
This plane is great in VR, some awesome texturing. My only little gripe is the aluminium parts all appear too chrome like or at least too bright which does break some of the realism... I love it!
