If you were to go to war....

F-22 Raptor. Cause by the time the other guy sees you it's already to late.

stearman kaydet - because no one would think i was a military plane, and i could fly around dropping flour bombs filled with nerve agent.:173go1:

Jets - F-15E
Props - F4U Corsair
Bi-Planes - Fokker DVII

The B1B , Its got a great crew survival record , there are ejection seats aplenty that seem to work most of the time , its capable of belly landings when the crew forgets to lower the gear , fast for its size and carries one hell of a big payload to deliver to target , and most of all its " Sexy "
i have always loved the way that aircraft looks , in fact if you look at my WCATC signature you will see it flying out of the sunset.
Colin has one of these in the MilViz Hanger that is some pretty , i want one for my birthday !

A mossie
by the time i found one to fly the war would be over :applause:
H

Theres one due to fly here in NZ in about a year or two, so you might not have to wait long! See http://www.mosquitorestoration.com/

My choice would be similar to MyassisDragons (Props - F4U Corsair
Bi-Planes - Fokker DVII) although I would subtitute the F-15E for a F-22

I've ridden the Mighty Herk into combat many times. If I were to go as I pilot, I'd choose either the Herk or the A-10A. No C-model for me thanks!

Traditionalist here too.

For a fighter mission, it'd be a Spitfire Mk XIV.
Ground attack would have to go to the Beechcraft XA-38 Grizzly.
Bombing would be a Martin B-26 Marauder.

Hey All,

Hmm...

I OWN everyone here with my choice of a:

1) Borg Cube (not even a Battle Star can beat this!)

after that

2) Romulan Valdore class warbird (Romulan spaceships are SO Kewl!)

Then if I'm stuck on earth - it depends on era - but in no particular order

3) Flanker (with F22A systems)
4) A4 Skyhawk
5) OV-10
6) A7 Corsair
7) DH Hornet (for pre-Korea)
8) Mossie (for WWII)
9) Snoopy's doghouse! (for WWI)

One era one plane - well - I don't know - I like all the above!

That bout covers it!

Prolly a custom FW190A series running 100 octane with the later boost system added by my Schwarzesmaenner along with a warehouse full of Rustsatzen salted away with fifty or so different loadouts...some of the best AAF gun-camera footage shows the unearthly rolling of this AC with vivid clarity-great Mossie site!

A4M skyhawk for Jet
A1E skyraider for piston powered load em to the gills with toys and off ya go.

Ol' Jarhead:wavey:
