Still one of my favorite birds for FS2004. :wiggle: DH 104 'Dove' by Derek Palmer. Paint by Garry Russell.

I've seen it and considered DL'ing it, planes like these bring back the OLD memories of the early FS 9 addons and me rapidly downloading them. Does it have a VC? I my just as well do it and find in on SimV. Thanks for the Flashbacks Tex :)
 
Brilliant plane. I dont know how many hours I logged on that baby. I did a review on it at Flightsim.com way back when.

The panel is awesome, and its a 2D photo view panel only, no VC. The angles are just right and filled with detail, giving you the feeling of being in a VC.

That AP is pretty great as well once you figure out how to use it.

I logged so many hours over New Zealand in that bird..... Awesome awesome...

Bah, no VC is fine, I dont' really care.. if it flies I'll fly it. (or crash trying)

Nic looking livery, I have to say this one (below) which I spotted during a coffee break at Compton Abbas had me a bit bemused though....BBC Air. What does the BBC need one of these for...
 
Does anyone know if there's a chance to get full 32bit textures?
Or even a paint kit?

All repaints I found in my hangar are DXT3 - hard to start from there...
 
On the subject of the LTU repaint i have a copy but i don't remember where i got it from. I f anybody wants a copy drop me an email.

The Dove is one of the very few non-VC planes that I keep in my collection. Very beautiful plane. I love the styling on that bird.

stylish and a good flyer, even for a klutz like me. immersive experience with the aeromusica soundset that goes with it. Try a flight to St. Malo from Lydd or Southend.

Is there a manual or description of how the autopilot functions? I have been a little baffled. but that isnt surprising...

great work from Mr. Derek Palmer. I am looking forward to the Heron.
 
The design , sound the package , runs on FSX without ant issue's , just absoulutely brilliant !

There is a PaintKit and an update for the model at www.classicbritishfiles.com
Theres also a how to on using the GyroPilot

Everyone I have spoken to says it ports very well to FSX.

Oh yes there are some nice paints over there as well (The basic model comes with a bunch)
Including the International Test Pilots School one at Mojave which I was fortunate enought to
be given a guided tour of by the president of the company.

A particularly nice one is the Smiths Instruments repaint
