The easiest way for me to do these (with buildings) was to create the ground texture, make 3D markers on the ground, then make a Gmax ground platform, export, install, adjust, repeat until it exports to proper size, then make all the buildings on that template, discard the template later.
You got it right. This is Alconbury. I know that there is another version by Snuffy. But that version won't diplay okay on my computer. He 's gone over to the dark side and probably will do a portover for FSX. I'll take care of the FS9 side with a version from scratch.
I've got my FS 9 set up with1950s and 1960s airfields from California Classics and other period airfields and their attendant AI as well as all the WWII bases by Ian and Cees. As I've got more than enough airfields on the Island, what would be the best way to get rid of the stock MS airfields in England?
I assume that it is a matter of deactivating some files from the FS 9>Scenery>Europe>Scenery folder, but I can't make much sense of 'em.
