In Memoriam: Paul Clawson (PutPut)

Paul was someone you recognised as properly part of the FS scene and he'll really be missed. My condolences to his family.
 
Very very sad news. I had to read the message several times before I fully understood what it said. Paul one of those guys who were always there. One who would always answer your question. I will sure miss his presence here at the SOH, although I quite sure he is watching us from above, enjoying a Grolsh beer.........

Rest in peace Paul and thanks for all the things you have given to us.

Sad news indeed. A great contributor to the flight sim world and will be greatly missed. RIP Paul.
 
Sad news for sure but in such events, I like to remember that good people who give much of themselves and their talents to the benefit & enjoyment of others leave a good legacy. That legacy of good lives on and perpetuates in each who were fortunate to know & interact with him. Paul certainly embodied a lot of good in the community and I a sure many other good things during his 82 years on this Earth. Personally, I feel very humbled to have gotten a compliment directly from Paul for some of my work (which IMHO pales in comparison to all the work he did over the years).

Seeing the thread title was a kick in the gut. So sorry to see Paul pass on. He will be greatly missed.
