I did the same, and am now happily flying Jocko's and TimHH's excellent OANG and 318th FIS repaints (among many other excellent repaints).
 
Ok, I see. You have to choose variants vs liveries in order to see the other paint schemes. Also, they still haven't fixed the canopy textures being pulled from the basic textures, not the livery file. Not too bad with a bare metal aircraft but with a painted livery? I guess we'll just pretend the aircraft recived a replacement canopy and hasn't hit the paint shop yet ;)

For some reason the first paint scheme chosen is in the above config, whereas paint schemes chosen afterwards appear with the gear up and the control surfaces all over the place...

Has anybody noticed an issue with the LODs for the T-33 in 2024? For me the pilot figures go all blocky when not very far from the aircraft. Also, the far end of the nose of the aircraft as seen from inside the cockpit is blurred even though my anisotropic filtering is maxed out in settings.

I've noticed the pilot issue as well.

You are righ. You have to turn HDR off, when taking screenshots in msfs2024
