Trying to make some muddier water textures I was darkening the colors from Adnan Arif's aawater2, but no matter how dark I make them they never seem to change in the sim. Are there other files involved besides the two in that file? Aren't they just .bmp files editable in paint? I also remember an addon or maybe part of a package that offered three inland water colors for cleaner or dirtier water but can't remember what is is. If I find it I'll post it.

Okay I DL'd REP and pasted in the inland water colors which improved things a lot in my opinion. But when I tried to install the whole enchelada using the installer it said I had no FS9 installed. Is there a way to manually install so I can use the selector interface?
