I'm about to take on a new project - and wishing we had or might one day have an American inter-war icon from the Pursuit plane category...the Boeing P-26a Peashooter
yellow wings and rounds engines ALL DAY LONG

referring to the Sterling P-25A ? - I am currently stalled on it as other requirements have been imposed on my time. She's on the bench waiting to be resumed.
The dollhouse project has had some developments as my Granddaughter has decided on some colors for the exterior and trim. I might be able to post some pictures of that - I also imagined
using pea gravel to replicate a river rock foundation. The young one has agreed to the plan so as soon as that work is done I'll post those images too

I was also working on the most recent Stearman update for GAS as a beta tester. I sent Paul and Didier an initial impression but had been flying it extensively since then and prior to release to ensure the initial evaluation was accurate.
It was. Since it was so well done, I have been flying and enjoying it a lot more. The other day when I was landing on a short field I cut the engine to idle and side slipped down to the treetops with a very noticeable song coming from the wind in the flying wires.
You know when you get the time of day and the weather and the location just right, in an open cockpit, in your favorite airplane - and you have all the elements of a radial engine chugging, prop whirling, wind whistle-moaning, plane and shadow converging over the runway and that gratifying little bump
of a three pointer and all is right with the world?
It was like that
