currently working on this project for my granddaughter...it is a big project, lighting, fireplaces, base and crown moldings, beam ceilings, window and door casework, the whole 9 yards.

Thanks for the encouragement Snuffy - I appreciate it. Well - if I add a 'wing' to this house it might qualify for this thread..
 
the nose and tail cone are glued on and faired into the fuselage. Next step is the cockpit cover.
The plan is to cut out the windows, attach the clear acetate to the inside of the window frames, then mask them, frames and windows, on the exterior. At that point the cover can be
attached to the fuselage to be faired and smoothed into the main structure. It'll take careful sanding and filling to get that part to look as if it was part of the fuselage assembly from the start, and not plopped on top, like it does now.
