Interesting Find About My Missing MSMP Aircraft.

Was just looking at the MSMP and seeing what aircraft it said I owned, and which were still Disabled Not Creator Approved. Interestingly, I clicked on the 2024 Premium Deluxe to Aviators Upgrade and realized that almost all of my DNCA status aircraft are ones in that upgrade.

Out of the 30 aircraft included with the upgrade 21 of them that I already own, are still DNCA.

That still leaves 8 missing MSMP aircraft purchases of mine that have never shown up at all in the MSMP.

I'm enjoying 2024, as long as I don't think about or look at the MSMP. Even just checking for new 2024 stuff on the MSMP is pretty telling. Clicking on show only 2024 aircraft or airports and it's a pretty bleak list of what's available. I'm betting that the large majority of the 2020 MSMP aircraft are all still DNCA. :)

Microsoft must have teamed up with former Boeing Starliner programmers. Or, on second thought, maybe they should hire the Boeing programmers. They couldn't do worse.

If I'm right in thinking that the few aircraft I don't own in the Aviators Upgrade are also DNCA, then I wonder why is it still avaliable and for sale.

You would think there would be some serious repercussions for selling a product for $99, where nothing in it actually works as advertised.

Another ridiculous MSMP item I recently decided to bypass is Boeing 314. In My Library it's listed as DNCA, but on the Pilot's site it's listed for 2024. Liking that aircraft as much as I do, I went ahead and brought it again directly from Pilots. There's nothing wrong with it, but meanwhile it's still DNCA in the MSMP.

Since Friday and checking the MSMP sceneries I have that were released from the DNCA listing, I've found at least 4 so far that are absolutely not 2024 compatible. One of my Florida MSMP airports doesn't even show up at all once enabled.

My thoughts on never buying anything from the MSMP is getting stronger by the day. 😀

I always try to buy direct from the developer. I believe M$ is trying to corner the add-on markets, making it where developers will have to sell through the Marketplace. If that happens, look for fewer add-ons at higher prices.

The way I'm leaning right now is probably one step further. If an aircraft I want is available through the developer, then I'll buy it from them. If that same aircraft is only available through the MSMP, then the way I feel right now, I'll pass on it. even if it's an aircraft I would like to have.

I've been checking daily to see if anything I own has lost the DNCA listing and it's been at a dead standstill for quite a while now. I'm looking at 47 of my airports and 24 aircraft still listed as DNCA. Additionally, 2 aircraft that have never shown up. That's pretty ridiculous.

The goofy thing is that I know that many if not all of those aircraft I own that are still listed as DNCA work perfectly fine in 2024. That is unless SU1 broke them. On the other hand, I have 8 aircraft that that were released from DNCA that all have issues, no sound, no gauges, won't cold start.

I swear that there's no one home when it comes to someone being responsible for managing the MSMP. :)
