Sorry to hear of everyones woes with the order limit.. works for me though
Pulled an all nighter for uni last night, got home and passed out, didnt come round until 2230 GMT.
Right now the Eagle, BD-5, F-16 and Vulcan are in the patern... F-14 and F-20 already in the hangar.
Hats of to you David, six outstanding birds for under £20.00
After getting David's e-mail notification that the store was back up and running, I went back to my cart and made a fresh purchase. Went through perfectly - no problems, and I'm now the owner of an IRIS fleet. Thanks, David, for getting it resolved so quickly... and of course for the Christmas gift, too!
For those who have not used the support ticket system, this is David's response to mine ( I had the prepayment status thing )
It has come to my attention that a number of customers are confused about what the 'Prepayment' status means on the order page and how it relates to your purchase.
As such, I would like to explain the order process a little and why you shouldn't worry..
When you place an order on the IRIS Store and click the 'proceed to checkout' button which takes you to the paymate payment page, your order is saved in our store and given an order status of 'prepayment'.
This means that we've saved your order and are awaiting confirmation from paymate on what to do next.
When you enter your payment details into paymate, one of two things happen, either the payment is approved or not approved.
If the payment is not approved, you get redirected back to our store and paymate sends our store a piece of code which tells our store to delete the order as it was not approved. (You also get a nice red banner telling you what happened!)
If the payment is approved you are sent to a new page with a big 'Confirm Order' button which you MUST press! This button sends you back to our store and sends a code to our store telling it to alter the payment status from 'Prepayment' to 'Available to Download'.
Sometimes, if the confirm order page times out, or customers accidentally close their browser, no code gets sent to our store to change your order status.
In those instances, you will have paid for the goods, but our store shows 'prepayment' and no download links.
As part of my daily routine, I double check our 'Prepayment' orders in the store against the paypal payment database to see if any orders need manually updating.. and more often than not, some do.
So to clarify, when you make a paymate payment.. PLEASE ensure you click the big 'CONFIRM ORDER' button on paymate when you've processed your payment.
Also, to put others minds at ease.. Prepayment DOES NOT mean that we will automatically deduct money or process your payment without your knowledge or consent.
If you have orders in your account under the prepayment status using order numbers 1413 through to 2201, you will need to re-order the products should you wish to have them.
Unfortunately those orders were placed whilst the paymate sales cap was in effect and as such will be deleted in due course as no payments were successfully transacted.
I do hope this information sheds a little more light on the payment process and how this and many other stores deal with internet based transactions.
Kind Regards
David Brice.
I added the bold, because my order number fell into that range. Did as directed, and its all gone through without a hitch, and the correct payment has been made ( i.e. only one A-10 paid for, not two )
David, hope you don't mind me posting the above. Thought it might save you responding to others with the same problem who are still wondering.
As these are my first Iris purchases (very nice sale), I am not sure how the installation process works. When I ran the installer for the A-10 it asked for an "Authorisation code" which I can't seem to find on the page with the download links. Can anyone tell me where it is?
The authorization code can be found during the install process at the top of the window asking for your name, email and authorization code. It is above the window for your name.
Thanks for all your hard work David. I hope you're not too busy to also enjoy this Christmas season a bit. Seems all is back in working order and I was able to finish my order. Now I need to get my PC back to work to enjoy all this
Hey David thank you for your extreme generosity to the folks here!

Donna and I just moved to Austin for her new job. TechCorp can only afford part-time systems people until late spring . Finding full-time work is hard right now so thank you for making my Christmas. Needless to say we have to make tough choices right now. It still feels like theft considering the quality of your products...
