Yeah; man. Theres AN509 screws where there should be NAS332 structural close tolerance screws! Some one sure dropped the ball there!
The repaints look great, and so does the external and VC. How are framerates for modest hardware?

Well, what I'd like to say is that if you were a big pigeon on the ground surrounded by hawks and eagles and hornets, youd be nervous too, but i doubt you would find that as funny as its intended to be.. Could you be a bit more detailed as to what you are interpreting as "nervous"?? You see, I was making that flight moderl, "before" I started doing weight distribution and the CG is back pretty far. So, what I THINK, you may be seeing, may be my own worst fears, and not what your seeing at all, and would really like to have an exact description so that I might possibly fix the issue..

It seems to me the ground handling quite strange, when taxiing it looks very nervous, don't you?

Nope, not here. Ground handling is just fine. The only thing i suffer is some wild behaviour of the props at start-up (simply countered with giving it some time between starting up engine #1 &2), and during descent. But that happens with many planes, and is probably caused by my Saitek Throttle quadrant (drivers).

yeahhh, i had to get rid of my saitek throttle quadrants. either i got a bad set, or the X-52 just plain doesnt like working with them.

Just got an email.

Hi all,

I don't have the C-27J yet, but I've been closely observing the comments about it on SOH, the Iris Facebook and Iris forum [especially so as I consider this aircraft is at the 'top end' of the FSX product price range]. I usually make my purchase fairly quickly on such a great looking aircraft, yet sadly I have to say it quickly become quite obvious there was a clear 'disparity' between comments, observations, problems and requests between the SOH Forum and Iris' Facebook and more recently their Forum.

Don't get me wrong, the textures, interior modeling and features look stunning. Unfortunately, looking at customer comments, I got the feeling pretty quick that this payware addon still had a whole lot of glitches. Just my opinion based on observations.

So, it appears that very few SOH customers have had any problems with this addon apart from one or two folks earlier in this post. Am I being too critical of the SOH C-27J customers and their apparent lack of critique about this bird? Maybe I am. Perhaps I just need more sleep! However, considering the amount of issues, questions etc. raised on the Iris forum [some even remain unanswered], I'll hold on to my $55.5 USD until I've read about the 1.2 version [I say version rather than 'patch' as it's a whole new 226Mb download].

Thanks for watching :salute:
