• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

  • Server side Maintenance is done. We still have an update to the forum software to run but that one will have to wait for a better time.

IRIS T-6/Texan II

The reason I asked was they've got that 5 dollar frenzy sale going on IRIS's website and wasn't sure if the version they have on there would work in FS9
 
For AndyG43 (or anybody else who knows),
Do other Iris FSX planes besides the Texan II work OK in FS2004? How about the AudioworX sound packs? Not familiar with FSX so pls excuse my ignorance, but I hate to pass up this great Iris $5 sale if I can grab some FS2004-compatible stuff.

Me to, but I had the older FS9 version to. May be if you PM David (Smudge) with your woes and ask nicely he may be able to help. I'm sure he must have the FS9 version somewhere lying around. I'd give him the grace of time, he's up to his armpits paddling furiously to cope with the sale.

PS. it does mention FS9 on the Texan page, might be worth pointing out to David so he can fix it.
 
Me too..... It's the FSX SP2 and straight FSX version only......

At least it was only a 5 dollar mistake on my part.
 
Apologies on my part - I have the FS9 version, which I love to pieces. I made the assumption this was on offer. definitely worth dropping them a line, I have always found them faultlessly helpful in the past.
