I'm partial, how about a 2 seater too... Mig-21UM Mongol ?
Like this one I groundcrew for.......
I noticed some difference between the right and left outer wing halves as well. I painted a Yugoslav AF bird with azure blue wing tips from a training exercise and had a heck of a time lining things up -- ended up having to compromise. Since I'm no good at making bump maps I couldn't just mirror the rivets and panel lines from one side to the other. Hoping if you make your paint kit public it might fix some of these things.

Thank you very much!Hi,
Here's my repaint kit.
LSK der NVA.
There was two methods of doing camo in the LSK:
1) During overhauls in dresden with "official" colors and patterns
2) In the respective Geschwader with whatever paint there was and the main point being having spots in green and brown on the plane.
Obviously, these paints were done after the latter method.
The machines from JG-1, -3 and -8 were flying in 1990 and thus have accurate tactical numbers.
JG-2 and JG-7 are depicted here sharing one and the same aircraft (actually a "M"), with two different camo schemes before JG-7's disbandment in 1989 (arms reduction) and in service at JG-2.
JG-9 ultimately switched to MiG-23s in 1982, so this MiG continued its service at JG-3 until the end of 1984, when it most probably became an instructoral airplane at the "Militärtechnische Schule".
JG-8 got upgraded to the "bis" around 1977, so their -MFs never got to see a camo paint. This particular Fishbed ended up at the "Offiziershochschule für Truppeninstandsetzung" in 1977.

I wanted to do one paint for one Geschwader each.
Too bad Ivan's Fishbed doesn't use spec maps.
Also, does anyone else have problems with the landing lights being always on?
- Edit:
Also, what's the "MFN" model for?
- Edit²:
Apparently it's a NATO version with different comm and nav equipment.
Hello,
Any News the repaints?
Finally finished those effin' paints.
Uploaded here, on Avsim and on Flightsim.
- Edit:
A double "description=" line held me up for about two hours. Hence the "effin' ".
