I’m going to upload a new ship resource but have a question before. I look for the “MV Krait” there had been an upload or a pay ware package for CFS2 some years before. I like to use the “fx_krait_smokestack_w” effect, I just don’t want to upload a pay ware effect with my upload.

The reason is, the CFS2 stock smokestack is too big for my little “Sea truck.”

Cracking looking model 👍

I'm sure there were smaller smoke fx files, the filenames end something like "..._wss".

If not, it shouldn't take too long to create a suitable effect. I will check my archives later today 💨

Wolfi, see attached zip.

These are all developed from the original stock effects.

I was trying to develop a range that could be useful for smaller craft & large riverine ferries.

The moored smokestack was used on my JAP Maru Infrastucture ship objects -

- nobody seems to have noticed it was omitted from the upload tho' .... :costumed-smiley-034

wolfi submitted a new resource:

Japanese small wooden cargo ship - A Japanese small wooden cargo ship (Sea Truck) used for frontline supply

Shj_IJN_Sea_Truck

A Japanese small wooden cargo ship, often used for frontline supply.

This ship doesn’t have a real ship as reference (I didn’t find any drawing), but I used some pictures for the construction, I think it will fit in with its CFS2 role. Those wooden merchant ships could carry about 100 to 300 tons of cargo depending on their size. This ship is thirty meters (98.4 feet) in length and is 7,2 meters (23.6 feet) wide.

I added an alternative “unpainted texture” to the texture...
