Hey, I'm in the process of updating my Jeannin Taube for Fs24 over the last week :) Most of the aircrraft has new mesh, everything is working well. She fly's very nice! so here's a few WIP's for you, no time frame on this, as always "it's done when its done" The Taube will have all the usual preflights etc, sorry but I can't do bone animation well, so no wing warping :(2026-08-22-19-30-51.png

I just realized that the pic with my avatar in it looks rather rude..... I swear its the strap on the leather jacket.

Hi full đź‘‹,

Wing warping is tough only the first time you do it, if you're using blender I can post some screenshots when I get time, but basically on top of my head: make a bone parallel to your wing leading edge, then connected copy and size how you wish, then repeat. You need to be in pose mode. Once you are happy with the shape and orientation of these connected bones you need to parent the wing to them with autoweights. Then pose and animate. You can mirror copy the left wing and it's bones and reverse the animation. Don't quote me on the process, but it is along these lines.

I am also working on a plane with wing warping, and I think it is an important part of the overall immersion. I had 4 separate rigs for each half of the biplane, of witch left and right meshes were slightly different so couldn't mirror copy streight, but maybe with your project it's ok to mirror.

Let me know if you need some screenshots of the process, but really it's not that difficult once you get accustomed.
