JF F4U-1 Corsair 'Birdcage' released!

not sure if this is a proper question but....how is it compared to A2A's?

The JF/Aeroplane Heaven model has much better visual fidelity. Both are different enough to have them both. Neither is at the simulation level of the Milviz F-100 monster. A lot of fun however. It's a must have if you are into iconic WWII fighter's. So many good releases lately, I'm eating beans and rice to pay for my sim habit.

On carriers, if you taxy to your park area which should be side on to the headwind, or slightly downwind, before shutting down, the prop will behave as it should. :engel016:

Just picked her up. Thanks for the plane! I love her already, but it doesn't help I've always had a soft spot for the gulled wing wonder.

:adoration: I seriously want to get a MP going with this, using Bruce Fitzgerald 's CV-6 , another thing put in the play was adding Aircraft Factory s later or some spice .. now that would be interesting with the both ... weather one works without the other .. hopefully they do but ...

Bought it, fllew just for a while on P3D 3 and my first impressions is that I really don't like propeller disk effect and think that cockpit deserves and needs some improvement (knobs design), specially compared with Milviz F-100. Overall it´s a good model

Ok, I'll make my feedback public wondering if any other fellow Simmer has same problema. Run some "tests" today and find out a very peculiar change in cockpit graphics wich do not comply with product presentation photos. And it´s about those whitish knobs, rods and switches.
Martyn, when I change views from outside to cockpit interior, all knobs, link rods and swuitches have a light grey colour, mainly throtle nob where I can see those two pararel white lines. Then almost imediatly everything fades to a bright white colour, (see photos). This happens regardless directin of light or display settings.
About propeller, have no suggestions...just looks not natural to me when compared with the ones from Alabeo or Carenado. Nobs, rods and switches...just bought Milviz F-100 and theirs look much more real. Take a good note that I understand that this may be related with my system...no offense here .

Running Windows 10 64 on a Nvidia 970.
Image and Texture Quality
FXAA-On
MSAA 2 Samples
Texture Filtering
Anisotropic 4x
and texture resolution 2048x2048
Hope this helps and will contact Support later.
Thanks, best regards

Are you using ENB?
Hard to tell from an image, but the whites do appear "washed out" and darker areas too dark (as though there's too much "contrast"). If it's shot in P3D, especially V3.1, it may need to have brightness sliders adjusted. Just a thought.

More specifically, you should try to disable the HDR effect in the P3D settings to check if the problem still happens. :)

Thank you all...disabling HDR solved my problem. Everything turns a little darker, although outsider remains the same. Only plane where I need to do this. Now my cockpit looks like the photos on Manual. Allways learning...

Best Regards

I've not been impressed with the prop effects from any of the recent JF/Aeroheaven implementations. All that fine texture work seems compromised. Oh well.
