I've had it with an area that causes the sim to hiccup then lose all ground textures (AKA FS4), likewise double aircraft from some install screwup of mine with AI aircraft and any number of other faux pas I've made that sometimes take the fun out of my game. I was long over due for a re-install. 4 years is a good run I think but those early times were full of noobiness and I messed up too many things. But learning as much as I have here will make this fairly painless. Just wanted to express my thanks to all who make flightsimming enjoyable and easy. Here's to ya :ernae:

I have been there...and probably anyone who does any amount of tweaking to their sim has been there. I have had to reinstall FS9 a number of times. I always go in to the new builds with more knowledge than I had during the previous builds. I have learned what works, what doesn't, what I need, what I don't. I have always started each build saying "I'm only going to download and install planes that I will fly on a regular basis". That never happens...I am a planeaholic, a horder of winged mechines. I have planes installed that I have not flown since the day I installed them....but one day I might fly them, and for that future possible flight, I leave them in my installs.
