• There seems to be an up tick in Political commentary in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site we know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religiours commentary out of the fourms.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politicion will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment amoung members. It is a poison to the community. We apprciate compliance with the rules.

SOH-CM-2023
I am not able to complete the download from the Microsoft Store, an error code pops up at 100% download, showing only 12gb (of 50) downloaded, the error message saying " something went wrong on our end" and " can't install this app through the MS Store. Check with the app publisher" now I can't get into the MSFS zendesk as it's offline (404 code). Yet MSFS2020 is running perfectly, so I have to assume that the store is fine, the issue is still with the servers at their end? I just want to confirm and maybe see if anyone is in the same situation. Should I wait, delete all msfs2024 related files and retry...or just keep patient for a few more days? Thoughts?

I would suggest deleting the attempted install, making sure you have enough disk space, and then trying:
1) Make sure the Xbox app is installed. Run it and then exit (just to see if it triggers any updates)
2) Go to the Microsoft Store app, choose the Downloads button on the left, and Get Updates/Update All
3) Go back into the Xbox app and install MSFS 2024 from there. If you have a second SSD, try installing on a different drive.

I don't think there are server problems with the download, so I'd go ahead and troubleshoot vs waiting.

Denny, I'm now downloading from the Xbox app. I'll let you know how it goes, thanks for the advice.
