Kennedy Space Center Scenery

It warms my heart to see you continue to improve and enhance this scenery. Your efforts shouldn't go unrewarded......EVERYBODY BUY THIS SCENERY....IT IS SPECTACULAR!!!!!!

(I'm an indirect investor in SpaceX (and excited to watch every Starship launch), so I'm glad to see you bringing it to MSFS.)

Thanks Jay!!!

The thing is, this scenery will directly complement our halo project, SpacePort - a MSFS202x add-on that will enable a true, accurate and full-featured spaceflight!

As we develop facilities, launch infrastructure and rocket components for this scenery, we are also developing them for SpacePort!

Watch this space for more news, coming soon!

We are taking MSFS to space!!

Here is a short, annotated video of WIP for SpacePort. We inserted cool RCS thruster effects, and implemented rough collision objects. Our test subject is Capt. Sim's Shuttle Orbiter, so, since we don't have the model, we had to kind of guess where the collision areas are (hence the imprecision in some places)

Ladies and gents… Introducing TerraBuilder SpacePort

You are looking at Captain Sim’s Space shuttle, docked to a space station consisting of 16 modular objects, dynamically spawned at Mach 27, and hard-connected into a rigid unit, using our spaceflight physics engine.

We are polishing up assets, and we will make a formal announcement soon - but for now, enjoy this sneak peek!

Questions:

1) Will the mod(s) work for MSFS 2020?
2) if so, how will orbital assets work with that sim's max altitude, which I believe is FL275?

thx,

dl
1: Yes, both 2020 and 2024.
2: 2020 experience will be a bit "limited". FL2750 is roughly 83km. We have the ability to define the atmosphere (density, pressure), so for 2020, we set the first molecules of air to appear at 70 km altitude. So, there will be a 13 km thick "shell" (70 to 83 km) of vacuum where spaceflight will happen.

For 2024, full realism up to 30,000 km (Close to geosynchronous orbit)
