There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.
If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.
Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Looking good Ted, but what are you doing your site seeing in?
yes, I know and understand, it's always a balance between historical accuracy and flight sim engine + PC hardware limitations. It will NOT be wall-to-wall accurate, but there will be enough to look at, as far as how it appeared, during the wartime. There is quite a difference on the docks area, from then to now.
If all of it was built into the sim, there would be no fps, or very few. But, I'll get enough to bomb, for some effects.
But, wow, I'm so happy with this news! I'm gonna build a few single missions that occured around Lorient in WWII just for this new faciliy, I've got actually ideas for 8 missions from 1941 to 1945.
Will the heavy flack battery installed on the isle of Groix be included?
Absolutely, this is the one I was talking about. When I come back home by plane (Airline: Brit Air / Aicraft Type: Fokker 100), it always fly over the isle of Groix and with a goo light, it's absolutely beautifull. In fact, this is the most beautifull apporoach I've ever seen with Huahine (an island in French Polynesia, south pacific) and Bilbao in Spain (I really love the montains and the sea when the aircraft arrive there).According to the maps, Isle of Groix, is the large island that is 2-3 miles off the main coastline. If you look at the screenie from the air, you can see it near the horizon.
I didn't know that.Isle St. Michel is missing, which is the very small island, just off the port entrance. The germans used it as a homing station, for the incoming U-boats, when their radar masts were dis-abled.
perfect! One of the 4 gun 88 facilitys will fit nicely on Groix! Should be good to go.
