KLM liveries for JBK's Douglas DC-6 v2.0

KLM liveries for the FS2004 version of Jens' new DC-6 are now available at Avsim.com and Sim-Outhouse.com. Later on today (probably) they will be available at Flightsim.com too. Textures for the FSX version will be available soon.

Do you know if the 'Last great race' DC-6 is available somewhere..?
Either the original or the Air Atlantique DC-6 that flew in those colours last year?

..And if the answer is no, would you perhaps be willing to do that one as a next project? I can provide photo's if you need any.

The DC-6 that is needed for those colours is the DC-6A (or -6B with cargo doors). The KLM repaints I made are for the shorter fuselage DC-6. But...

Hans U. Hermann made a great repaint of "our" Six.:applause: The repaint is available at Avsim.com as 'Air Atlantique DC-6A Liftmaster' (dc6klm01.zip). You will need The CalClassic DC-6B with spinners by Greg Pepper & Tom Gibson (available at CalClassic.com).

D'oh..! Should have known it was a different model... I did have the Calclassics KLM DC-6, but to be honest the VC is not very good anymore.

Anyway, your repaints will keep me flying the DC-6 for a long time.! :applause:
 
Great repaints Maarten! I always preferred the old KLM schemes above the current ones. (But I guess that has to do with age :lol:)
