Ditto for me too (I guess that's redundant) Unfortunately for me, I'm using the FS9 version. I do admire your work.:applause:

BTW. Can repaints be done in FS2004 for the Kodiak? I'm not a painter so I haven't looked at the paintkit, but I know I haven't seen any paints for the FS9 version except the original ones that come with it, which are outstanding.

Hey guys, guess it time for me to join this thread. Sorry for not reading fully it's gotten rather long since it released but all the cool repaint pushed me to buy along with the 2.2 update I invested. It's a awesome aircraft and I much enjoy flying it. Well built FS add-on. As to the repaints were are they uploaded and if possible there file name.

If you have a program like DXTBmp.exe or ImageTool (latest version) you can.

You take a DDS texture, flip it vertically (not rotate 180 degrees, but flip vertically) and save as a BMP. Then open with DXTBmp or ImageTool and save as a DXT3 or 888-8 (32bit high rez). Done.

With DXTBmp, you can open the DDS up, and send it to your graphics program of choice (like Gimp or Photoshop or Photo Shop Pro, and flip it, save as a BMP. Then compile to DXT format for FS9.

No worries, it's uploaded. It might take a bit to get it "accepted"...

About that prop rpm issue.. I noticed when airborne and when reducing the prop rpm, it does start decreasing but really slowly, like 1 rpm per two seconds...

bushpilot,

Those are beautiful Kodiak paints! I've converted them for FS9 use and they are fantastic!

Check your PM's.
