Ah...The Morane-Saulnier 317 (still alive), wonderful model. I am also working on a MS-225, more easy to make than the D500 family, but not first priority, i am searching for cockpit pictures.
For the first time, with the D500, i got a cockpit adequate documentation and the knowledge of the real gauges.

You have already tackled the complex nose of the ND-62,...

I agree. Cowlings are often subtle forms that are difficult to shape accurately. Gaston's modeling is superb.

The MS-225 is an nice looking and interesting aircraft as well. Although I can't help you with any pictures of the cockpit, I did find a discussion started by somebody with the same question you have.
Hopefully it can help you to find the information about the instruments you are looking for....
